Performance
All three trims for the 2024 Sentra have a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter gas engine. This is a 149-horsepower unit that mates with a continuously variable auto transmission and a front-wheel drivetrain. The entry-level trim has rear drum brakes and this upgrades to rear disc brakes for the top two trims. The Corolla also has a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine under its hood. Likewise, it features front-wheel drive and a continuously variable transmission. If you are willing to pay a significantly higher sales price, the Corolla is available with a sport suspension in the higher trim levels.
Appearance
The 2024 Nissan Sentra is easy on the eyes from every angle. Its look is undeniably sporty, with a forward-leaning stance and an available black roof. Above the rocker panel on the sides, a deep groove angles toward the rear haunches. Both the front and rear fenders are topped by slightly arched definition. The V-motion grille spans from top to bottom, and it is paired with air slits and aggressive LED headlights. The Corolla stands more upright and has a sharply angled hood. The sides are mostly smooth. On the nose, an A-frame grille rolls outward at the sides to connect with minor air vents. The unique LED headlights are connected by a black bar above the grille.
Features
The base-level Corolla is most closely priced to the Sentra even at the Sentra's higher trim levels. At the base level, the Corolla has wireless smartphone integration, keyless entry, an auto climate control system, an 8-inch touch display screen, adaptive cruise control, lane departure mitigation, lane keeping, and forward collision mitigation. The Sentra offers these features as well as a wireless internet hotspot, a surround-view parking system, a heated steering wheel, a power sunroof, synthetic leather or true leather seats, a Bose audio system, remote engine start, heated front seats, and several other features.
