What's New for the 2024 Nissan Sentra?
The 2024 Nissan Sentra is a mid-generation model with several exciting updates. These enhancements begin on the exterior, featuring modernized, sleek headlights and taillights. The bumpers on both ends have also been refined to emphasize the car's sporty appearance. The Sentra retains its distinctive V-motion grille that extends almost to the bottom of the nose, and the grille is flanked by athletic gills. The car's rolling profile combines with angled definition over the lower door panels and pronounced accentuation over the front and rear fenders. New wheel designs are also introduced. The exterior features offered across the 2024 Sentra's trim levels remain unchanged and may include a rear spoiler, sunroof, daytime running lights, heated side mirrors, and hands-free keyless entry.
Under the hood, the 2024 Sentra now features an Xtronic continuously variable auto transmission and engine start-stop. The powertrain across all three Sentra trim levels remains the same as in the 2023 model year. This includes a 149-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter gas engine with a front-wheel drivetrain.
The only update to the Sentra inside the cabin is a redesigned Nissan logo on the steering wheel. The base S trim level offers a 7-inch touch display screen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a push-button engine starter, lane departure warning, rear auto braking, forward collision mitigation, a blind-spot alert, and a four-speaker sound system. The mid-level Sentra SV trim adds two more speakers to the sound system, additional USB ports, an enhanced driver information display, and an 8-inch central display screen. A few optional packages with this trim level include leather seats, a Bose sound system, heated seats, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, a remote engine start, a heated steering wheel, and more. Standard and optional SV trim-level features include sports cloth upholstery with accent stitching, a wireless internet hotspot, and a surround-view parking system.
