The 2021 Nissan Frontier is the more powerful of the two trucks in terms of horsepower and torque. The 3.8L V6 engine with 310 horsepower and 281 lb.-ft. of torque will be standard on every Frontier, providing drivers the same power no matter which trim level they choose. The 2.3-liter engine block of the 2021 Ford Ranger features a turbocharger, but it can’t produce more than 270 horsepower. The maximum towing capability of each varies based on the model, however, both offer comparable capacities, with the Frontier topping out at 6,720 pounds and the Tacoma going up to 6,800 pounds.
Both light-duty pickup vehicles have ample inside space to accommodate up to five adults. Inside the Nissan model, the Automatic Temperature Control comes with dual zones and a cabin-integrated air filter. Inside the spacious cabin, the air vents are adorned with a touch of chrome. For added comfort on frigid days, select models have leather-wrapped front seats with heating. The Nissan Advanced Air Bag System, which has a dual-stage architecture, comes standard in the 2021 Frontier. Additional safety is provided throughout the cabin by roof-mounted curtain airbags and side-impact supplementary airbags.
This Nissan midsize truck also features the Zone Body architecture, which features many areas of reinforcement and crumple zones for maximum impact absorption. The Safety Canopy curtain airbags and child-proof door locks are two of the 2021 Ranger's top passive safety features.
Granted, this is just a tiny portion of the wide variations available. Contact Palm Springs Nissan for more information on the 2021 Nissan Frontier near Cathedral City, CA! We'll explain why drivers prefer the Frontier over the competition and go over the features and capabilities it has to offer.
