The 2020 Nissan Sentra is an excellent option for the compact sedan class. It has the signature safety focus that Nissan is known for while still being incredibly economical. If you’re looking for a low-cost option for a new car, the 2020 Sentra should be at the top of your list.
Here’s an in-depth comparison of the 2020 Nissan Sentra S, SV, and SR features.
The 2020 Nissan Sentra comes in three different trims: S, SV, and SR. Each trim is powered by a 149-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The S comes with a few standard tech features and a lot of safety features. A 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth capability, voice recognition, and two USB charging/input ports are the standard infotainment inclusions. Forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and lane departure warning are standard. Forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, driver attention monitoring, automatic high beams, a rearview camera, and a rear-seat reminder are also standard.
The SV adds a lot in terms of comfort and integrated tech. New features include a 7-inch digital instrument cluster display, dual-zone automatic climate control, remote start, proximity keyless entry, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and heated outside mirrors. The infotainment system gets a serious upgrade too. The SV gets an 8-inch touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, satellite radio, NissanConnect capability, and an additional USB port. Adaptive cruise control is standard on the SV trim. The available SV Premium package adds quilted leather upholstery, a moonroof, heated front seats, and a leather-wrapped shifter, among other things.
The SR is the cherry on top. It gets LED low-beam headlights, fog lights, and updated interior and exterior styling. The SR Premium package is the same as the SV Premium one, but with a few major differences. Instead of quilted leather, it gets synthetic leather upholstery. It also gets an eight-speaker Bose sound system, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a surround-view parking camera system.
