Do you need to find a new vehicle for your company’s work fleet? Are you an outdoors enthusiast looking for utility and comfort? Maybe you just need a lot of seating? Whatever the reason, a full-size passenger van may be exactly what you’re looking for. And Nissan has an excellent option: the 2020 Nissan NV Passenger line up.
Today, we’ll be taking an in-depth look at the 2020 Nissan NV Passenger van. We’ll examine performance specs, towing capacity, seating capacity, and cargo space.
The 2020 Nissan NV lineup has two available engines; the S and SV trims have a 4.0-liter V6, while the top-tier SL trim has a massive 5.6-liter V8. The 4.0-liter V6 pumps out 261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque. With a tow hitch receiver, the engine can pull up to 6,200 lbs. The 5.6-liter V8 ups the ante considerably, producing 375 horsepower and 387 lb-ft of torque. When it’s properly equipped, the V8 can pull up to 8,700 lbs. All models are RWD.
When it comes to a passenger van, the seating capacity should be front and center. The 2020 Nissan NV Passenger doesn’t disappoint. It can seat up to 12 people with 324 different seating configurations. The second and third rows have 65/35-split seats, while the fourth row has 50/50-split ones. The S and SV have water-repellent cloth upholstery, while the SV had leather-appointed seats. All rear rows can be removed. With all but the first-row seats are removed, the 2020 NV Passenger has 218.9 cu-ft of cargo space. That’s on top of all the integrated storage, such as the under-seat drawer, deep center console, and fold-down passenger-seat seatback tray table.
