One of the most exhausting parts of car buying is all the research. Not only do you have to narrow segment options, you have to figure out which vehicles in that segment you like. And then compare trim levels of multiple vehicles. And compare trims of a singular vehicle. It’s frustrating. Let us help.
Today, we’ll be comparing all three trims of the 2020 Nissan Frontier: the S, the SV, and the Pro-4X. Take a look below to see which features come standard on all three trims.
Every 2020 Nissan Frontier S comes standard with a 3.8-liter V6 that puts out 310 horses and 281 lb-ft of torque. RWD is standard, while 4WD is available. On the inside, the Frontier S has a 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth capability, a USB port, and Siri Eyes Free. Cloth upholstery is standard. The King Cab comes with a four-speaker stereo; the Crew Cab has a six-speaker one.
The SV trim has the same engine and drivetrain options as the S. Standard features include power-adjustable side-view mirrors, a sliding rear window, and upgraded premium cloth upholstery. Unlike the S trim, the SV has additional packages. The Value Truck package adds rear parking sensors, a Utili-Track moveable tie-down system, heated front seats, and dual automatic climate control. The Midnight Edition and Special Edition packages add unique interior and exterior styling elements.
The Pro-4X trim has the same V6 as the other two trims, but comes standard with 4WD. The Bilstein shock absorbers, skid plates, and front tow hooks make for an off-road capable truck right out of the box. The Pro-4X get the Value Truck package, as well as a moonroof, heated side mirrors, integrated navigation, satellite radio, and a 10-speaker premium Rockford Fosgate sound system.
