The have been a lot of names for the Z-line of Nissan sports cars over the years: the Fairlady 240Z, the Fairlady 280ZX, the 300ZX, the 350Z. But we’re here to talk about the current generation, the 370Z. It’s an excellent sports car option that brings a by-gone era of racing purity to a new generation.
Here’s an in-depth view of what the 2020 Nissan 370Z brings to the table. Take a look.
The 2020 Nissan 370Z is purebred performance. Each model is RWD and features one of two V6 engines. The standard engine is a 3.7-liter V6 that makes 332 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. That engine is paired to a six-speed stick shift, with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic available. The high-performance engine is the 3.7-liter Nismo V6 that’s tuned to pump out 350 horses and 276 lb-ft of torque. It comes standard with the seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, though you can opt for the six-speed manual if you prefer. Additional features include a Nismo cat-back exhaust, a Nismo suspension stabilizer kit, a Nismo suspension, struts, and springs kit, and Nismo brake pads.
The 370Z is focused on performance. The result is refreshingly no-nonsense. However, it still has a bunch of tech to engage you on your daily commute. Standard inclusions are Bluetooth capability, a six-speaker sound system, a USB charging port, and a rearview camera. The sound system can be upgraded to a premium eight-speaker Bose variant. A 7-inch touchscreen is available, as is integrated navigation and satellite radio. Heated seats and power-adjustable seats join the fold at higher trims, pairing well with the available leather upholstery. If you opt for the top-of-the-line Nismo, you can expect Recaro sorts seats.
