The base trim of the 2022 Nissan Frontier starts at $27,840. Still, depending on the configuration and cab you choose, higher-end trims can cost substantially more. The 2022 Nissan Frontier lineup includes the Frontier S, Frontier SV, Frontier Pro-X, and Frontier Pro-4X, all powered by a 3.8-liter Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG) DOHC 24-valve V6 engine that delivers 310 HP and 281 lb.-ft. of torque. A nine-speed automatic gearbox system sends the engine’s output to the rear wheels. A four-wheel-drive option is also available. On trails, the 2022 Nissan Frontier can pull a maximum of 6,720 lbs. and has a maximum payload capacity of 1,610 lbs. The vehicle gets the best fuel efficiency in its class, with 18 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway.
